Most people wouldn’t call themselves professional cosplayers until they are making a substantial percentage of their annual income from sponsorships, appearances, or modeling opportunities that are related to the hobby. You certainly don’t have to be cosplaying as a full-time career to be a professional cosplayer, joker costumes but making $5 from the hobby probably isn’t enough to warrant adding it to your resume. The definition of a professional anything (cosplayer, photographer, etc.) is a little bit fuzzy.
