You have to have a lot of followers and be well known in the cosplay community before you can expect to be a convention guest. If you show them that being there could attract more people to the convention, horror movie costumes they may take you on as a guest. However, incredibles costume there are a few really big contests (like the World Cosplay Summit) that offer larger prizes.
